The series that spawned modern day Star Trek is over. It probably wasn’t the best series of Trek ever developed, but it still had its moments. But none can deny that if it wasn’t for Discovery we wouldn’t be having the Trek resurgence we have today.

Searching for Ranger Martin
The Troupe, having cleared away the gnolls of Tri-Top, move on to their next quest. Almax has asked them to find the ranger Martin, who he lost contact with in the Reddy Forest.
Guangren Lama Temple (广仁寺)
Xi’an has a lot of temples, and we visited several of them. The Guangren Temple is the only Tibetan Lama temple in the city. Its draw is that it holds eight treasures, six inscription boards, and six “wonder trees”, among other things.
Jotun /// Valhalla Edition
I started playing Jotun, a game that is based on Norse mythology. You play Thora, a dead viking, who must prove herself to the gods so she can enter Valhalla. Doing this means exploring the Nine Realms, finding runes, and defeating giants.
Generating Butterfly Advancements
I’m still on a mission to reduce the amount of work needed to add new butterflies to the mod. This week I looked at advancements, with the goal of being able to generate their requirements without having to manually edit each one.
Inspiration of 12 Monkeys
Probably my favourite film of all time is Terry Gilliam’s 12 Monkeys. It’s a fantastic film that explores our perception of time, insanity, and the desperate measures we may go to in order to save mankind.
Disorganising of the Gnolls
The Troupe leaves the town of Restenford for the first time. They make their way toward Tri-Top, the source of the gnoll attacks. Somehow their assaults on the towns defenses have become more frequent and better organised, and the Troupe has been tasked to find out why.
Shadows of Gao’s Grand Courtyard
We wanted to see a shadow puppet show when were in Xi’an, and it turns out that you can if you go to one of the best preserved homes in the city.
The Absolute Insanity of IHRB
I’m still playing I Hate Running Backwards, and Holy Hell has this game exploded. Initially the game seemed kind of boring and unchallenging, but now that I’ve defeated a few bosses and unlocked some new features it’s providing a fun and challenging gameplay loop I can’t escape from.
Generating More Butterfly Data
This week I focused on improving data generation for the mod. This doesn’t add any new features to the mod, however it does mean that adding new features to the mod will be much easier in the future. And being able to iterate new features faster is always a bonus.
