I spent this week tidying up some little issues with the mod here and there. I had a couple of small requests and bug reports over Christmas which I added to my backlog.

Video Games as Literature
The last couple of YouTubers I talked about produced a lot about video games. But the reason I highlighted them was down to their non-video game content. Today I want to recommend a YouTuber based on his actual video game content.
Deep in the Nashkel Mines
Aegon’s Troupe have descended into the Nashkel Mines, learning that Kobolds have been poisoning the ore. Their motives, however, remain a mystery. The party goes deeper into the dark, hoping only to find answers in the mines.
Nauru: The Smallest Island Country
The last trip I took before the pandemic started was an island-hopping tour of the South Pacific during which we would celebrate the New Year. I visited many small island countries, including one of the least visited countries on the planet.
Vampire Survivors: All the Things
My second most played game last year was Vampire Survivors. You probably heard of it, since it was a bit of a craze for a while. The insane statistic I have for this game though, is that I unlocked 160 achievements playing it.
The Many Wonderful Mobs of Alex
A seagull has nested close to my farm. Every time I leave my base that bastard swoops down and steals more of my bread. I’m done with this. I know how to craft a decent bow. Roast seagull is on the menu tonight.
H.Bomberguy’s Massive Rants
H.Bomberguy is another also started out talking mostly about video games. Lately he’s been creating documentaries disguised as video rants that have levelled up his channel, covering topics from autism to plagiarism to flat earth. Now, instead of being merely entertaining, he’s an objectively good YouTuber.
Girdle of Gender Nonconformity
It’s the holiday week so I don’t have much time to play Baldur’s Gate right now. So I thought I’d do a quick article about one aspect I really like about Baldur’s Gate’s design. It’s one you don’t even know is there unless you specifically look for it.
The Reason I Stayed: My First Burn
China didn’t go well for me at first. I lost my fiancée, my job, and was struggling to adjust to life in a country so unfamiliar to me. I had all but decided to leave. This is the reason that I stayed.
Rogue Tower: My Most Played Game
Outside of what I’ve been writing about on here, it turns out I’ve played a lot of games this year. More than I expected, in fact. According to Steam, I played 32 different games this year. And I’m a little surprised at which games I played the most.
