I’ve been rewatching random episodes of South Park lately, and I’m starting to notice some small problems with it. While a series that likes to make fun of ‘both sides’, there does seem to be a definite bias in the message of the show.
TV Series
I talk about stuff we watch on the box.
Why Doesn’t This Exist Yet?
There’s a sci-fi franchise with a huge following that desperately wants a revival. Many are looking for a new TV series, or a movie. But I always feel if they do this it will end up being a reboot not as good as the original.
How to Fix Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: Picard is a recent series about an older retired Picard being sucked back into the life of adventure. It had a very mixed reception, perhaps being the most poorly received series by fans. While it had some highs here and there, it never really stuck the landing.
Stargate SG-1: Dial Up Sci-Fi
A series about a team of soldiers that regularly travel to other planets by means of a device known as the Stargate. It flips the conspiracy-theory genre on its head, putting us on the side of the conspirators.
The Most Realistic Sci-Fi Ending
Created by Seth McFarlane, The Orville is heavily inspired by Star Trek, especially The Next Generation. Sold primarily as a comedy, it was intended to be a serious show from the beginning.
Red Dwarf: Continuity Matters?
I recently did a rewatch of Red Dwarf from start to finish. I watched it religiously as a kid, but I never really watched any of the later series produced by Dave (a TV channel, not a person).
