I’ve finally 100% completed a game in my Steam library! ABZÛ has been a fun Journey of exploration. In completing it’s goals, I discovered one final secret to the game. One that you won’t find in the list of achievements, even the ones that are hidden.
Video Games
I do this for a living and for fun.
Hunting Bassilus the Murderer
After trying, yet failing, to help people suffering from various issues with polymorphism, Aegon and his Troupe return to Gavin’s quest. Lathander has asked that he hunt for the murderer, Bassilius, and bring him to justice.
Discovering The Secrets of ABZU
I’ve been playing ABZÛ a lot more recently, trying to explore the things I’ve missed up to now. It turns out there is a lot more to this game than I noticed on my first play through.
The Conjurer of High Hedge
The Troupe got distracted once again, after every paladin we met started trying to slay the half-orc, Dorn. Gavin was tasked by Lathander to hunt the murderer Bassilus so they set off to find him. During their search they came across a talking chicken who needed our help.
Action Henk: Buttslide Speedrunner
Run. That’s all you need to do in this fast paced and colourful game. If you weren’t into speed running before you play this game, you will be. Butt slide you way to new characters and levels, but remember it’s Henk, not Hank. With an E.
War of the Paladins (and a Chicken)
The Troupe helped Isra save Prism by defeating the bounty hunter Greywolf. Now they shall enter the Nashkel Mines in an attempt to solve the mining crisis. If they can solve this problem, then perhaps Braegar will finally calm his nerves.
ABZU: Art as a Video Game
For almost as long as video games have existed, it’s been hotly debated as to whether or not they can be art. I feel that in this day and age the question has already been answered. But sometimes you will play something and be forced to ask a different question.
60 Parsecs! My First Ending
I completed another game! I managed a run where I reached the end. It wasn’t easy, and cost a lot, but I did it. I’m on my way to finishing more games in my Steam Library.
60 Parsecs! A Choose-Your-Own-Roguelite
You and your team are orbiting Earth on a space station when nuclear war breaks out. As you watch life being wiped off the surface of your home, one missile starts heading towards the station. There is no stopping it, and the only way out is a small escape pod.
A New Direction for the Troupe
After losing Neera exploring Adoy’s Enclave, Aegon returned to Beregost to recruit some old friends. Gavin, Emily and Braegar agree to travel with him again. They stand now, outside the Thunderhammer Smithy, ready to discuss their next steps.
