From Big Bang Studios, and published by Alpha-Omega, comes Universe. Probably one of the oldest MMOs, though surprisingly few know much about it. The detail in this game rivals games like Warcraft, Dwarf Fortress, and even Minecraft. It is a simply amazing feat of engineering and game design.
Playing My Steam Library
So many unplayed games in my library… Let’s play them all!
Turok The Dinosaur Hunter
From Iguana Entertainment and originally published by Acclaim, comes a first person shooter where you play as Turok, a Native American battling his way through dinosaurs, aliens, and robots, seeking the ultimate weapon to defend the universe from the evil “Campaigner”.
Revenge: A Story Told in Blood
Ryse: Son of Rome throws you into a brutal world of war and revenge. As Marius, a newly recruited legionnaire, you witness your family’s slaughter and embark on a blood-soaked quest for vengeance – from the streets of Rome to the misty battlefields of Britannia.
Welcome Back to Black Mesa
If there’s one thing I wish I could do with Half-Life, it’s wipe my memory and experience it for the first time again. Black Mesa doesn’t quite grant that wish, but it comes damn close.
Fall of Montreal and Quebec
I spent some time playing Total War: EMPIRE this week, and managed to make some real progress this time. I’m slowly learning how to play this game properly, but at the same time I’m learning about some of its flaws.
Hitchhiker – A Mystery Game
In this interactive mystery experience, you play a hitchhiker meeting new people as you travel across American highways. With no idea where you are going, or where you came from, you will slowly unravel the mystery that defines your past.
Failed Conquest of Quebec
The Total War series has been a staple of slow, realistic war games since Shogun: Total War came out in the year 2000. Since then there have been numerous titles in the series, each set in different periods of time.
Mysterium: A Psychic Clue Game
Have you ever tried to communicate with a ghost to solve their murder? In Mysterium, that’s exactly what you do; only instead of words, the ghost communicates through cryptic visions. It’s a fantastic concept for a board game, blending deduction with eerie, dreamlike imagery.
It is Time to Get Serious
I never played Serious Sam when it came out, despite it looking like a fun game. At the time of release I was heavily invested in playing or modding Quake and Counter-Strike, and didn’t see the need for another FPS in my collection.
This Time It’s Miracle Sudoku!
In my quest to play through my Steam library, I found another Sudoku game that reinvents the formula with clever new rules.
