Another point-and-click adventure, this one with a more adult and darker theme. A student learns of her grandfather’s death, and on attending his funeral is sucked into a mystery that consumes a small town in America.
Playing My Steam Library
So many unplayed games in my library… Let’s play them all!
Proving Myself to the Gods
After her untimely death, Thora sought to prove herself to the gods so that she may enter Valhalla. Exploring the realms of Norse purgatory, she earned gifts from the gods and fought the Jotun of old.
Killing Jotuns One By One
This week I’ve been making progress in Jotun: Valhalla Edition. I’ve completed every level, and collected all the golden apples and skills. Now I just need to kill the Jotuns. After killing the first Jotun, I learned something new about this game and the story it intends to tell.
Jotun /// Valhalla Edition
I started playing Jotun, a game that is based on Norse mythology. You play Thora, a dead viking, who must prove herself to the gods so she can enter Valhalla. Doing this means exploring the Nine Realms, finding runes, and defeating giants.
The Absolute Insanity of IHRB
I’m still playing I Hate Running Backwards, and Holy Hell has this game exploded. Initially the game seemed kind of boring and unchallenging, but now that I’ve defeated a few bosses and unlocked some new features it’s providing a fun and challenging gameplay loop I can’t escape from.
I Hate Running Backwards!
Another roguelite I found in my collection. I seem to have a lot of these for some reason. This one is a top down rail shooter where you run backwards and destroy everything that was in your path.
Secrets of Haiku, the Robot
As I’ve finished Haiku, the Robot, I started exploring a little more to learn some of its secrets. I’ve finally 100 percented the game, but there’s still a bit more to this game, as well as a challenge I may take on in the near future.
I “Finished” Haiku, The Robot
I finally found what was inside the Mainframe. I went inside and I defeated it. I had finished the game. A small uneventful cutscene played. The credits started rolling. The game was over. I had reached the end and finished the game. Or, so I thought.
Haiku, the Robot: Ice and Fire
In my downtime between exploring the temples and markets of Xi’an, I’ve been continuing my way through Haiku, the Robot. The game’s influences are becoming more obvious as I near the end, but it doesn’t change how fun it is to play.
Exploring Haiku, the Robot
I tried to get into Hacknet, but it wasn’t working for me. I don’t think it’s a problem with the game, it’s just that a game that simulates hacking into servers felt a little bit too much work for me.
